IDX PROGRAMMING
In short, IDX programming is used by Realtors ®, the assist in marketing their clients property on their real estate web site. IDX stands for Internet Data Xchange, and is usually the sharing a text file that contains property data. Then taking this data and using it in a search database system so users can browse, search, save, set up a showing, ask for information, print and many other helpful needs when looking for property to purchase.
What we have developed is a custom design program where our clients` logo appears on each detailed listing sheet along with a contact form that is sent instantly to that client`s email address. We can also give our clients` the ability to be text paged each time someone sends a contact form regarding a property for sale, so they know instantly that someone is interested in a property for sale on their site.

Customization
We realize not every Realtor® web site is the same, so we have developed a way for the display of our IDX system to be different. In our latest version of our IDX program, we make it possible to customize the search page, reaults and details page, along with other elements of the program that will make ti unique and cusomized to the look and feel of almost any website.
Web User Interface
From each property details page, we give the web users the ability to contact our clients through a contact form on that details page. Instantly, our clients are informed that a user is interested in a specific property, by sending our clients the message the user sent along with some property information fromt he details page they sent it from.
IDX Mapping Improvements
We are currently working on a brand new mapping system to compliment our IDX data delivery system that will streamline Property Hunting for web users. It resolves long waits for the map to reload an area, plot multiple points on the map and pans in and out with a simple click of the button or roll of the mouse wheel. All improvments are to help web users find the property they want, quickly, easily so they will contact our clients for more information on that property.
If you are part of local Realtor® Association, they usually offer a free link to a searchable IDX system. Although it's economical, this link can actually hurt your web site's credibility. How, you may ask? You are able to answer this question by thinking as a web user may think. If a user is looking for an experienced
local Realtor® and comes across the "FREE LINK" site, they may not get a good impression of them since that site had to "LINK OUT" for informaton that experienced Realtor® should have. Since Realtors® are suppose to be the experts on property, should they have the property data under their domain? The answer
is YES, without it, that real estate web site loses credibility as being an expert in that industry.
Even if you don't get our IDX system, you may want to think twice about using the FREE link offered by your Association. It could be better NOT to have it, rather than look BAD for having it.
